Introducing PRINT ROOM, a collection of 40 original analogue print textures, tonal variations and paper surfaces, lovingly created, collected and scanned from my own creative practice.
Inspired by old printed matter, 1970s graphic design, Risograph printing, faded ink and newsprint, PRINT ROOM brings the warmth and beautiful imperfections of analogue printing into your digital artwork.
Made slowly at home through my own printing experiments using an old printer, black ink, newsprint and collected materials. Think subtle grain, uneven ink, faded colour, natural discolouration and all those lovely irregularities that make something feel truly printed.
These are the very textures I use in my own artwork!
01 — PRINT ROOM SURFACES (13 JPEGs)
Original scanned surfaces including newsprint, vintage bookbinding fabrics, faded papers and card backings. Full of natural grain, subtle marks and beautifully imperfect details.
02 — ANALOGUE PRINT TEXTURES (17 JPEGs)
Original ink textures printed onto newsprint, featuring soft grain, faded ink, irregular coverage and horizontal and vertical printing lines.
The original print borders have been intentionally left intact, so you can keep them for an authentic printed appearance or crop them away for clean, edge-to-edge textures.
03 — TONAL VARIATIONS (10 JPEGs)
Additional light and dark versions of five original textures, offering even more possibilities for layering and experimentation.

Includes a little guide to using your textures
Simply layer the textures over your artwork in software that supports blending modes, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Procreate.
Experiment with opacity, colour and blending modes to create your own effects. I especially love Soft Light for darker textures and Screen for lighter, faded print effects.
Perfect for posters, typography, illustration, record sleeves, music merchandise, T-shirts, branding, packaging, collage and experimental graphic design.

I've always loved the character of old printed things — uneven ink, faded colours, grainy surfaces and those little accidents that make every print feel different.
PRINT ROOM grew naturally from my own creative practice, and I hope these textures bring a little warmth, playfulness and beautiful imperfection to yours.
