Peace Block is a hand-crafted, all-caps display typeface inspired by protest graphics, woodblock printing, and the bold, expressive lettering of Corita Kent, alongside screen-printed posters and French New Wave title sequences. All made from scratch by hand.
Built from cut forms and imperfect edges, Peace Block embraces irregularity — each letter carrying a slightly different weight, rhythm, and shape. The result is a typeface that feels raw, human, and expressive, designed to sit comfortably within collage, print, and layered visual work.
With its all-caps structure, Peace Block is made for bold statements. The letterforms work best when played with — shifting spacing, overlapping, and building compositions that feel spontaneous and alive. It’s a font that invites experimentation, rather than perfection.
