Folk Fest | Hand Crafted Font

US$17.00

FOLK FEST is a hand-crafted display font inspired by the visual language of quilt-making and the creative energy of the Arts & Crafts movement. It draws from a history of stitched messages, patchwork symbols, freedom quilts, protest banners, and festival posters — reminding us of the power in things made by hand.

Think Topanga Canyon in the 70s: music drifting through the hills, posters taped to tree trunks, quilts spread across dry grass. FOLK FEST channels that era’s free-spirited, back-to-basics ethos — a celebration of process, imperfection, and craft.

This all-caps display font is slightly irregular and full of character. Each letter and number has two versions — one with stitched quilt markings and one clean. The lowercase a–z set becomes a library of quilt-inspired icons: doves, hearts, stars, and patchwork motifs you can use as decorative borders, graphic elements, or stand-alone symbols.

Perfect for:

  • Folk festivals, music posters, and album artwork

  • Community projects and protest graphics

  • Branding and packaging that need a tactile, human touch

What’s included:

  • Uppercase A–Z (stitched + clean alternates)

  • Numbers 0–9 (stitched + clean alternates)

  • Lowercase a–z (quilt motif icons)

  • Basic punctuation (stitched version only)

  • .otf font file

Note: The clean alternates (without stitching detail) are accessed via uppercase alternates in your design software.

FOLK FEST is both a tool and a tribute — bringing the beauty of handmade craft into the digital age.

Your purchase includes a Standard Desktop Font License for one user (one seat). This covers use in print (posters, packaging, branding), digital graphics (web, social media, apps), logos, and both personal and client projects.

If you need multiple users, web/app embedding, or fonts for resale/merchandise, please reach out to arrange an Extended License.
