Hello. Nice to see you here.
I'm Madeline O'Donoghue, a designer-artist creating handcrafted, analogue-inspired creative resources for designers, artists and brands.
Working from Aotearoa, New Zealand, I create expressive fonts, illustration libraries, textures and graphic assets that celebrate the imperfections of hand-drawn processes. My work draws from traditional printmaking, folk culture, peace, nature, music and the visual language of the past.
Alongside my collection of digital design goods, I create original drawings, paintings and ceramics, and collaborate on selected creative projects.

FAQs
I create downloadable goods from down here in Aotearoa New Zealand — including fonts, graphic icon collections, and print-your-own art prints. This setup helps me share my work and ideas with a global audience, without the need for shipping or dropshipping across the world, which can be tricky from New Zealand with delays, and costs.
This way, it means you can print my work however and wherever suits you — whether that’s at home, locally, sustainably, or on your own terms. My prints are designed to scale, from A4 up to A1 size, offering flexibility and freedom for how they exist in your space.
This approach also helps keep things accessible. I want as many people as possible to live with the work in spaces that matter to them.

Thanks for being here — and for supporting independent work.
If you don’t spot your question here, just send me an email and I’ll be happy to help.

Nope! Everything here is instant and digital. You get your files right after purchase, ready to print or use wherever you are. No waiting, no postage, no bubble wrap.
-
After checkout, you’ll get an email with a download link. You can also log in and find them in your account under “Downloads.”
-
Each purchase gives you the right to use the files within the terms of the license — meaning you can use them for your own creative projects, whether personal or commercial, depending on the product type.
Here’s what that means for each category:
Icons & Graphics
Use the icons and graphics in most creative projects like branding, marketing, websites, and printed materials.
You can modify and combine them into your own designs.
You may use them commercially under a standard license, but you cannot use any letter-shaped icons to create fonts or typefaces.
One purchase = one user license.
You cannot resell or redistribute the original files as standalone assets.
Fonts
You get a standard desktop license for one user (one seat).
You can use the fonts in personal or commercial projects such as print, digital graphics, branding, logos, and websites.
The license does not allow sharing the font files, embedding them in software for distribution, or using them in mass-produced merchandise without an extended license.
Need multiple users or wider use? Please contact me to extend the license.
Art Prints
One purchase grants you the right to print and display the artwork for personal use only — in your home, office, or as gifts.
You may print the artwork multiple times for personal display but may NOT sell the prints or digital files in any form.
Sharing or redistributing the digital files is prohibited.
If you want to use the artwork beyond personal display, please contact me to discuss permissions.

Yes! If you’ve found an existing illustration, artwork, pattern or graphic of mine that you’d like to use for a specific project, I’m very happy to discuss licensing.
This might include book covers and publishing, editorial, magazines, packaging, merchandise, campaigns, branding, products or other commercial uses.
Licensing is quoted separately depending on how and where the work will be used — things like print run, territory, duration and type of project. You don’t necessarily need a custom piece made; I love seeing existing work take on a new life in the right project.
For licensing enquiries, get in touch at madeline.a.odonoghue@gmail.com with a little information about the artwork you’re interested in and how you’d like to use it.

Yes. All fonts, illustrations and creative assets are licensed for use under the terms included with your purchase.
Purchasing a license allows you to use the work confidently in your projects while supporting my independent creative practice. Please check the license included with each product for permitted usage, or get in touch if you’re unsure which license you need.

I’d love for your friends to have it too — but please send them here to grab their own copy. One licence = one customer.

At home (on nice paper), at your local print shop, or through an online service. My tip: slightly heavier paper always looks extra special. When you get your files you’ll also get some tips & tricks for printing at home OR with your local printer.

Some files come zipped for neatness. On a computer, just double-click to unzip. On a phone or tablet, you might need a free ZIP app. Still stuck? Email me — I’ll try to help you sort it.

Because these are instant downloads, I can’t offer refunds. But if something’s wrong with your file, email me and I’ll fix it!

Sometimes! I take on a small number of selected commissions and creative collaborations alongside my own practice. If you have a project in mind, feel free to get in touch with a little information about what you're looking for, your timeline and intended usage.
If you're interested in using something I've already made, you may not need a custom commission at all — have a look at the licensing information above.
