Finding solace in the only constant of change. PATTERNS OF THE PAST explores the idea of portals to other realms, actively blurring the boundaries between tangible and intangible. Patterns of the past, whether good or bad, exist - Nature is alive and watching us. U.0 created an original ambient score with references to shell horns and an airy sound that hones into the vast landscape of Whiritoa Beach with its carved rock faces and profound nature. A 1980’s analogue synthesizer was used in the score. The piece is also accompanied with hand drawn illustrations pulled from details within the film, such as carved eyes, a dog figure and the spirals of nature. Produced by U.O Productions.
